The Ethernet Transformer (also known as the Data Mercury Network Isolation Transformer) module is an indispensable part of the network card circuit, which mainly includes the center tap capacitor, transformer, autotransformer, and common mode inductor. This transformer is usually installed near the input end of the network card. During operation, the uplink data signal sent by the transceiver enters from Pin16-Pin15 of the network transformer, outputs from Pin10-Pin11, passes through an RJ45 type adapter, and is then sent to the server through unshielded twisted pair cables; The downlink data signal sent by the server is transmitted through another pair of unshielded twisted pair cables and RJ45 type adapters, entering through Pin7-Pin6, outputting through Pin1-Pin2, and then sent to the transceiver of the network card.
